We’ve officially entered Monsoon Season here in South Korea – and Mother Nature hasn’t been keeping it a secret. Along with the pouring rain comes more days spent indoors, much to my dismay. And I realized, we really haven’t had too many INDOOR adventures here. Because even in the dead of winter we were outside exploring – and freezing our butts off. But, it was high time to have an indoor experience. So when my friend Lydia invited us to check out JumpingGo in Sosabeol with her, we didn’t hesitate to accept!
Our visit to JumpingGo in Sosabeol
JumpingGo is a kids café located in the heart of Sosabeol (or “new Pyeongtaek” as my friend who used to live in Sosabeol called it). And while the name implies that it’s a trampoline park, we were surprised to see that it was SO much more than that. In addition to three massive trampolines, there were also a number of ball pits, arcade games (which take tokens that you’ll be given upon entering), bumper cars (which also require tokens), foam block pits, jungle gyms, a large baby area, an entire café and restaurant, and party rooms that you can book for a modest fee of only ₩20,000.
The 10 kids between Lydia and I wasted no time when we walked through the doors. After removing our shoes and securing most of our belongings in lockers (which are provided for free), the kids ran off to explore. And they played their little hearts out. One challenge that Lydia and I have often had with our kids is finding activities that they ALL enjoy. That’s something that comes with the territory of having kids ranging in age over a 9-10 year span. But we were extremely happy that even our oldest kids enjoyed themselves. Between the trampolines, giant hamster wheel, and even the ball pits, there was PLENTY for even the older kids to enjoy.
This was my first experience with a kid’s café in South Korea. Because I have five kids – and because kid’s cafés tend to be a little on the pricey side – we usually opt for activities that don’t cost quite as much. This café, however, was actually pretty reasonably priced, compared to others in the area. After we left, my kids immediately started asking when we can go back again. Suffice it to say: they had a great time.
’til next time…

How to visit JumpingGo in Sosabeol
Directions: Pasting 경기 평택시 비전5로 20-26 4층 into Naver will take you right to the complex with JumpingGo. From the entrance to the complex, head to the 4th floor.
Parking: Because JumpingGo is located in the heart of Sosabeol, street parking isn’t really a feasible option. For this reason, I suggest parking at one of the multiple parking garages in the area. I know there is a parking garage under the facility that houses JumpingGo, but we had one heck of a time finding it. We opted to park in the Golden Tower Parking Garage instead, which cost us about ₩7,200 for about three hours. You can get to the Golden Tower with this link for Naver. From the Golden Tower Garage it’s about a five-minute walk to the complex. That all being said, if you’re able to locate the parking garage beneath JumpingGo, they DO validate parking.
